UPDATE: How to sign up for scheduled games... Click here.
Directions to BryceCon:
If you are traveling from either the Las Vegas direction or from the Salt Lake City direction, the best route to take is to go to exit 95 (Panguitch Exit) and head east to Highway 89. Go south on Highway 89 through Panguitch and then turn east again onto Highway 12. Continue east until you reach Highway 63, then turn south toward Ruby's Inn. Signs for Bryce Canyon are clearly marked on Highway 12, so keep an eye out for them
Why should you go to BryceCon?
BryceCon is from the 16th thru 19th of January. It runs from 4 pm on Friday to 11 am on Monday and will have rooms open for gaming 24 hours a day. That's 67 hours of potential card, board and roleplaying game time! (though we do recommend breaks for sleeping, showering and eating)
Great bargain! Admission is only $30 per person for the full weekend. Room rents are as low as $45 a night for rooms with 2 queen beds.
Not affordable enough? Volunteer for 3 time blocks and get free admission. We greatly appreciate those who are willing to donate some of their time to help us out.
Gaming with new people (friends you just haven't met yet). Conventions are a great opportunity to get to meet new people, maybe even ones you've talked to on online forums, and play your favorite games with them.
The convention takes place a mile outside the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park. Monday (MLK day) is a free admission day for the park. So you can end your convention weekend with a free day trip to one of the most popular and unique areas the states have to offer.
Our host (Ruby's Inn) builds an ice skating rink, grooms cross country skiing trails and rents skates and skis every winter. They've generously offered free ice skate rentals to anyone attending BryceCon. So if you need a break from gaming, by all means take advantage of the other activities available. Skate, ski, drive on one of the top rated scenic roads in America, or relax with a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
All rooms come with a fridge and microwave. No worrying about whether or not you'll have a fridge to keep cold food and soda in your room. There is a restaurant and general store on site. Area information is available.
Vendors for your game-related shopping needs, a flea market for selling off some of your less-played games and for picking up others, a game library with games donated by several companies, and a raffle for items donated by those companies. All this is waiting for you at the first annual BryceCon Game Convention!
